The catalogue was first published in 1995 by Adolfo Orsi Jr, grandson of ‘Mr Maserati’, Adolfo Orsi, and remains the most comprehensive reference source on annual auction results. The catalogue draws on the data collection and expertise of Orsi and his colleague, Raffaele Gazzi, of Historica Selecta.
The Hagerty’s Classic Car Auction 2006-2008 Yearbook is a very comprehensive 390-page book, with hardback cover and high print quality. Published exclusively in English, it contains the results of the most important international auctions of the last two seasons, from 1st August 2006 to 31st July 2008, documenting the sale price of over 5,200 classic cars. The book also offers market analysis, statistics, and the traditional Top 100 and Top Ten listings.
